How do we celebrate Visual Art the same way as Music?
Public Energy is the ongoing long-term project of Ty Davis in pursuit of answering this question. To fostering a community of visual based artists in a music dominated culture of Miami, Ty is using Public Energy to create a Visual Label. This allows for formal collaboration between Passionate and High Level Artists, who wish to properly rollout and emphasize their Art based releases. This project isn’t only limited to uplifiting visual artists, it’s working hand and hand with Black/POC/Queer DJ’s & Producers to help platform communities and sounds. With Ty’s contributions to Miami’s music scene, he’s helping bring fresh sounds and genres to the over saturated city.
Public Energy is to be Unapologetic of Joy. In this modern age it’s easy to feel like others are belittled for an expression passion, reclaiming it for ones self is the mission.
Ty has created a Discord server to help connect Miami’s Creative’s under one roof, spanning across multiple disciplines.Through his experience with other online communities, they’ve pushed him to experiement in his practice over the past 4 years.
The server was created In hopes of providing resources and allowing others to have room to share critque, knowledge similar to Ty’s experience.
